Hi All
There is a lovely C4S for sale at the moment, a 993. It's pretty over priced to be honest, at Paul Stevens. What does everyone make of these?
The C2 looks like better value, that's in grey as opposed to blue.
What are they like to drive? I kist think the C4 is one of the best looking Porsches ever.

Everything Paul Stephens sells seems over priced. Great cars I am sure but I usually feel he is chancing his luck a bit with the prices he asks.
I think the widebody 993 looks great especially my new 993 turbo that I bought yesterday from JZM. My 'adventura' green one is heading back to them today, well sorted car and I really enjoyed it last few months as my first 993 turbo but traded up as trying to get myself into a much lower mileage one over coming year. The green one has done 78k and the silver one has some nice Turbo S factory fitted upgrades and 66k so worth the extra £10k for me.

I think similar price as last time as I have not done many miles (about 1500 I think) in it and I spent £500.00 on getting a new alarm and immobiliser fitted so that both key fobs work perfectly. Very very good car and I only had compliments about the green wherever I went. I just sold as I am trying to get a 'keeper' with lower miles so working my way through the field until the right one comes along.I wonder what they will put it up for this time?

Thanks. I have to say it's tempting. They seem to re-sell a few 993 Turbos there if you trawl through their cars for sale ads and sold listings. The 993s have been gradually creeping up in price.....pistolp said:

a basic C2 or an RS is still the best to me
the C4S probably the worst, all the weight of the turbo but none of the grunt, just a bit dull IMO and its the one model that gets flamed on here regularly by people who had a mediocre/bad experience with one
if you must have wdiebody then get the C2s

Sounds like the 964 3.3 turbo. Gets a rough time from those who had a bad example or just plain keyboard warriors however have you seen how much people want for those now. £65k for the one at Gmund!!Magna said:

Co-incidentally I've just been looking at an immaculate very low mileage C4S this very afternoon.
Not for sale, it's owned by a collector who has an example of virtually every air-cooled 911 Porsche made.
The C4S is far and away his least favourite and he doesn't rate it at all. "Bloated and sluggish" are the words he used to describe it.
Don't shoot me etc.....
