GT3 Crash on A1

Passed a very sad sight of a wrecked white GT3 on the south bound A1 near A59 junction,,it looked fairly new ,nothing else involved it was a proper mess having double ended into the centre reservation it was spread all over lanes 2 n 3 hope the occupants were ok poor soul must Be in a worse state than his car tonight ...sickening. 
I also passed the scene of that crash yesterday - looked terrible. I was driving North, so it had happened minutes before in the fast lane of the southbound carriageway just after the A59 junction.
The actual rear section of the car was distributed in the Northbound carriageway - we had to swerve around fans and exhaust parts. Didn't look nice at all. It had been raining earlier, but i think it was dry then - but wet in places. Looks like it had come round a fast left hander which sweeps round - you can only speculate - just hope everyone was ok.

Where abouts on the A12 was that???
....Don't know.....a friend told me about it....it was a white GT3 RS on a 04 plate which had gone backwards into the barriers.....ouch....it might have been involved in a crash with a Nissan Micra......it was very wet apparently so aqua-planing could have been a factor.madala said:

sounds like my car ill have to check in the garage! Seriously hope all ok. Cups and track day setup a big no go in the wet thou may not have been that GT3RS said:
With a track geo and cups GT3's need a lot of respect in cold wet conditions.
Driven with care no problem, but a set of winter boots makes things a whole lot easier.
I hope all involved are OK, it doesn't sound like the car will be
I have had the experience on a track with my RS and Cups in heavy rain. It is very,very easy to aquaplane and it happens n a flash, and suddenly you're backwards.. I know there are very experienced drivers who can manage it no problem, but the RS/Cups combo in a rainstorm takes no prisoners.Driven with care no problem, but a set of winter boots makes things a whole lot easier.
I hope all involved are OK, it doesn't sound like the car will be
