I might look ok but I have difficulties accepting that a 6 months old used 991 Porsche could cost as much as 90k.

Very nice looking car and decent spec. I saw a 6 month old C4S with power kit and aero package with c1,000 miles for £94K and was very tempted.

In this months Evo HM says 991 prices are on their ar*e, is this the case ?

List on that is £88k pre options so hardly priced to sell.

Looks like a very nice spec - although the spec says it's Basalt Black it looks more like the solid black.

The red stitching is eye wateringly expensive iirc!

New would be 90k plus 10k ish options did you get a huge discount?

Like many cars today the manufacturer have overpriced a lot of vehicles. Just look at what Mercedeas ,BMW and Audi need to do to shift their more expensive range. £500 lease deals on a new M5 or AMG !

Mind you £20k of a new c4s does sound good. Was it a stock vehicle or to your order?

I drove a 991 C4'S' and was mightily impressed.

Did the configurator and, decently spec'd, it lists at £100-110k. This worked out close to the price for a good spec 50th Anniversary C2.

My OPC said he wouldn't be able to knock much off the Anniversary, as they wouldn't get many, but could do something on the C4'S' (I think he was indicating 5-7% to order). However, in his opinion the C4'S' was a better car and were proving popular, so there weren't many build allocations available short term.

The bigger saving would be on a pre-owned, but you have to find a spec you like.

We always pay more to order a car to our exact personal specification.

Yet all the other 991 in the classifieds look crap, strange that ! Maybe to do with the angle of the lens and the lighting here in these pics.

Is the side sill standard ? What about the ride height ?

indeed,I'm missing something as well,dont think the balck is the 991s best colour,it hides the lines too much.

Seems to me prices are being protected by the porsche network,look how many cars for sale are in the network.

got a call from the OPC , take a car before Christmas and get a big subsidy , Porsche were pushed to meet there reg quotas apparently , I took a Boxster as well with £10k off ,. should have thought you can still get 10% discount with a push , the EVO write up on massive deprecation will not have helped

looks visually identical to 991 C2 i drive (allbeit cleaner!) . personally (after having had access to a C4S 997 for a few weeks) I prefer the 991. plus the C2 is 20k cheaper than this one...hard to see where the 20k goes. (i've had a few 911's now)

Brakes, 3.8 engine, Wide body, 4WD system etc...difference is under 15k which is ok i think.
