Just bought a 944

I've just bought a 944 from a deceased estate. The car was previously sold by Paul Stevens less than 12 months ago.

Although there's a lot of service history with the car there are some gaps (the paperwork may yet turn up) and I can't be absolutely sure that the cam belt has been changed recently.

Called Paul Stevens to see if they had any info, assuming they would have serviced the car prior to sale.
They were rather non-committal and inferred the car was bought as seen, which certainly wasn't reflected in the purchase price.

Wondered if anyone knows the car and can fill in the gaps.

The registration number is C999 NCN

Car drives very well and is in excellent condition. Only mark is wear on the drivers seat bolster. Bodywork is excellent.

Many garages put a sticker or label on the engine somewhere when they fit a cambelt (mine did) might be worth a look if you havent already.

Its a long way to get in touch with the previous owner unless the OP has a ouija board.

If in serious doubt, just get the cam belt replaced and reset your maintenance clock for another 4 years.
Looks great in white, just like the S2 I owned.
