why is it some people inc tyre fitters seem to think that locking wheel nuts have to be soo bloody tight, I have just had to buy a new locking key at a cost of £28 because it snapped trying to get the lockers off, I had to stand on a bar just to release the standard nuts.
Your tyre fitters are behind the times. Mine use air tools to undo and spin the bolts on but always use a hand-wrench to do the final tightening. Mine have to be 130Nm.
not long had the car so only the first time I have tried to remove them, Porsche dealer removed them for me and said they were close to double that 200+nm
