I really like the look of that. Well speced and a bloody good price. Glad to see the grey sports seats, all blue interior can be a little overwhelming IMO.
The mileage wouldn't put me off at all, the over 100K 993s really are looking damn good value for money, especially compared to something like a 3.2 or 964. You could add another 50K on to it and it wouldn't lose a penny.
I'd have to replace that wheel though.

Yup, looks to have the hard-back seats which are probably worth a few quid... Have been hankering after a 993 C2 VR since I sold my C4S a couple of yrs ago. Looking forward to seeing this one on Monday! I agree with you re the steering wheel... The alloys don't do it for me either!
Those exhaust tips look a bit after-market, don't look like the OEM big ovals, but I defer to someone who can tell!

Def not OEM, but before spending £500 on the OEM ones, have a browse at the dansk ones. Not quite OEM, but a damn sight cheaper at around £140.00.Edited by Kananga on Saturday 26th October 15:45

I hear you... £500 seems way too steep! The ones on the car remind me of some that I bought for my last 993... Stick out too far at the back for my liking.. Doubt that can be adjusted so maybe the dansk ones are the way forward... Those OEM ones look so damn good though... There's a whole thread on 911uk about 993 tailpipes at the mo

One thing to look out for. When I was looking for a 993, I wanted one that had covered more than 100K as I didn't want to be clock watching.
I have found when looking over high mileage examples that the bonnet sometimes looks a little high compared to the scuttle panel. At first I thought it was a sign of poor repair from an accident; it wasn't. For some unknown reason, on higher mileage 993s the bolts holding the bonnet start to work loose, especially on the nearside, if the bonnet is high just see it they need tweaking up. Mine did, and it was a eureka moment, and I bought the car. I'd already looked over two others without knowing.
Dare I say, bargain? Hope it goes well tomorrow, sleepless night ahead.

I certainly don't want to be too precious about using it, which would have been the problem with a mint low miler... Assuming the car checks out ok, I'm looking forward to sorting out issues as time goes by so that I'll end up with a keeper that I will know inside-out.
I've noticed that that there haven't been many narrow-body C2 coupes for sale over the last couple of years, so was happy to see this one come up for sale.

Looks like the Portiacraft car has the same steering wheel? I've looked and you can buy an original wheel from eBay. I think those after market steering wheels are horrid. I just need to get over and have a look at it.
A couple more targas have come up, a fair choice now but I do like silver! I'm even considering the one with the boxster red leather.
