Anyone used Hexagon before? They seem to have some lovely cars but no prices... really pisses me off. Why do they do that? It reminds me of HWM and puts me off a bit. Interested to know experiences

I agree it's very irritating. However if I'm interested for whatever reason I just email and ask what the asking price is for x,y,z car.

Hexagon Modern Classics look to have some very nice Porsches; has anyone purchased from them or had any experience ?

Yes I do agree it's very frustrating as I'm in the market for a nice 930. A tip for you, go on to the auto trader app and do a search on there you will find the costs of most of the cars they have in stock, they are big money but they do seem to have the best around so that comes at a price I guess... I just need to save up a bit more wink

MTR,
Sorry I meant a buyer (in general can be anyone) may pay a premium here but in my experience will be a nice car (ambiguity restored) G

Around a year ago I went have a look at Hexagon in Highgate. I was actually looking for a BMW (a 650i... I know... sorry!) and only when I got there did I notice all the other interesting cars they had in stock. Its not a bad setup, but I didn't come away as impressed as I hoped, certainly not as good as from an OPC.

The BMW in question was in average condition, had a dead battery and obviously had been there for many months with mould growing on the window frames. As it was 'only' a £27k car they sales guy said all it would get was a wash, none of the small dings and deep swirl marks would be taken care of, mechanically it seemed ok but I wasn't instilled with confidence. It wasn't what I wanted when buying a 4 yr old approved BMW (thankfully I later came to my senses and got a 997!).

It seemed also a bit incongruous having a main BMW dealer with a sideline activity in 'interesting' cars. Nothing wrong with it, of course, just didn't seem to make sense, but thats me being funny.

Reading thru some threads maybe its unfair to use Hexagons name at the same time as HWM

MEANWHILE BACK AT THE RANCH......

Has anyone EVER bought from them (the Classic Porsche dealer called Hexagon; not another dealer called Hexagon; not Hendon Way Motors)?
