Hope you all enjoy yourselves. The reason it's this cheap is that it's a freebie day that JP gave to RMA because an event earlier in the year was a disaster. All participants were offered a free replacement day. Unfortunately, many like myself are at SPA and Nurburgring this weekend with RMA and therefore could'nt take advantage of this offer.

Interestingly, RMA were not prepared to offer those of us going to SPA any sort of discount or compensation but were keen to learn if we couldn't attend Bedford so that they could sell off the the spaces and presumably pocket large amounts of cash.

Thinking about doing this. Any advise for a trackday virgin? Is there any special kit I need? What if I don't have a crash helmet?

This is a perfect track for 1st timers,

Lots of run off and nothing to hit apart from lots of grassy fields.

I think RMA will let you borrow helmets for £20 deposit, but would be best if you could borrow one from a mate.

I have done this track 9-10 times now, and know it pretty well, would be happy to give any advice if needed.


Be carefull though, because after the 1st one you'll be hooked !!!

Yes, wasn't feeling well, and then started to feel worse on the way home, managed to get within 1 mile of my home, then threw up all over the inside of my GT3 three times


Spent the rest of the night talking to the toilet...

So hoping to make a full day this weekend !!!
