Have to hand it to the winner though, its a totally convincing win .... only 1 person placed it lower than 1st or 2nd and even then, that person placed it 3rd ! Miles ahead of the runner up.

Cayman was 7th out of 11, not 2nd last.

The exige s, f type and ford were all washed out in the first cut.

Find it a bit odd the turbo s which has actually been delivered to customers was not in the test but the gt3 which has not was included.

How do we know, if it wasn't in the Test? In the real world it could well be a contender.

Based on all the reports to date - exemplary at covering the ground and ridiculously fast, just not as delicate handling as the GT3, even if the gap has apparently narrowed somewhat.

Not according to SportAuto which found the turbo s to be the better handling car.

That's the one with the 'under the weather' Horst Von Saurma driving the GT3 one-handed around Hockenheim. The same GT3 that performed well under par in the Sport Auto tests and which couldn't be fully tested on the rolling road due to some ECU problem...

I've not driven either, I'm just going by what the majority of tests say. I'm sure the Turbo S is faster though.

SportAuto may be the only rag to rate the Turbo over the GT3. Every other GT3 test has been glowing whilst the Turbo tests seem to be more lukewarm. I think they certainly made the right decision.

Have you driven a 991 Turbo S and GT3?

For what EVO are about the Turbos is never going to be the choice out of the two. And CAR preferred the GTR to the Turbo S just last month.
ECOTY is one of my favourite reads of the year and this was a real goodie.

Rather disappointed by last years test won jointly by the Exige S and Huyra, rather a cop out though I love both but this years crop, fantastic.
