New windscreen on my 981 Cayman....worried

Need a new windscreen on my 981 Cayman.
My insurance dictates that Autoglass need to supply and fit it.
Should I be scared??
I have sat nav and radio antenna built into the screen. Will they know what they are doing? Will the screen be OEM??
I just HATE anybody touching my car...that includes OPC...they always seem to damage something.

Apologies if this is a bit eggs and grandma, but for avoidance of doubt, insurance companies do not fit windscreens. Some, if not most, will strike up some kind of deal with 'a' company who you'll get if you "press 3 for glass" when you call your insurer in the event of a glass breakage.Cheers.
Other than the likes of Admiral, Churchill, Direct Line et al digging their heels in and not letting their policyholders use anyone other than the 'nominated' repairer, most insurance companies will be open to the idea of consumer preference. This might be helped by the fact that the car requires an acknowledged, or recommended (by main dealer) specialist do the work, or that an alternative supplier can do the work sooner than the three weeks waiting time from the nominated supplier... or it might simply be that the policyholder would like to use an independent business because he/she knows that it is a small business operated by a car enthusiast and not a clock-watching employee.
Much will depend on your insurer, but this doesn't mean it's a no (there are mitigating circumstances).
IME, and of all the Porsche cars I have replaced windscreens on (including the Bentleys, Ferraris, TVRs, etc) the specialist insurers (especially via brokers) are the ones who will put the policyholder's interests first.

I guess like most things to do with insurance, cheapest is normally never best.
It's certainly a question I shall ask insurance companies when I'm getting quotes.

A good start (if you do find yourself needing to nominate who does the work). To be fair I haven't even bothered to check if the screen is OEM but I suspect there would be an interesting debate if the OPC was fitting non-Porsche parts.
All sorted with huge relief.
As was said earlier in the thread, it's the individual rather than the company that matters. A chap from Autoglass came along. Showed me the screen and the paper work from OPC Nottingham.
Made a fantastic job of fitting the screen putting all the plastic trim back perfectly.
Now it's in Monday for the first 20K service. Think I will ask my OPC NOT to wash it, as they use pressure washers and spray horrid air freshener smells inside the car for some odd reason....

Speak to your insurance and insist that either an OPC or Porsche approved shop does it, that's exactly what I did and they Agreed, but you may need to get an estimate from them.
