Distributorless ignitions on 930
Discussion
Does anyone have any experience with using these on an early 930?
I'm rebuilding my engine at the moment and would like to go down this path, but as its fairly
expensive was just wondering about the benifits.
I'm fitting new turbo, intercooler and headers.
Engine is out to 3.6 and looking for about 410hp.
I'll be sticking with the CIS system, most likely
Thanks

There are limited benefits on a 930, the fuel system is definitely the weakest link. The K-Jet system on your car is absolutely pants, so unless you can afford to upgrade to full engine management like Motec you should forget it and get the best out of what you have.
As an aside 9m have fitted Motec to a stock 965 3.3 litre engine and achieved over 410 bhp & 630Nm, with the bonus of 25+mpg cruising economy and idle control that would drive the car in 5th gear at 500rpm. More on this conversion later.
