What a struggle to decide which sub forum to post this in. Life used to be so much simpler.

I think it is about time I put my other half back into a decent car. Having been treated to a diet of some very nice cars over the years when funds allowed the mainstay has always been a Smart car. Four over fifteen years.
It has to be a tip as she only has an auto box license. In her words she does not want to be a member of the boring black, silver and metallic blue brigade and has always been a fan of Arena Red. I see this as £5K over priced. Just wanted to glean your collective thoughts. Am I out of touch. The fact it has been owned by a doctor since 2010 means just what. He may well be a gynecologist and driven it like a complete c***. The yellow C2S seems better value for money IMO.
What do you guys reckon.

On the face of it, that looks rather nice. Cant fit a baby seat in the back? Er, you can! A proper 993 owner would know this.
A leather lined roof is not something i have ever heard of! But hey, special wishes can do that....

Agree, the arena one is over priced, a manual car in really good condition maybe worth close to the asking but auto's, like it or not are worth much less, think you are right about it being at least 5k over priced!!
Not convinced the doctor thing is of any benefit, most medical people I know including doctors don't give a toss about cars and certainly are not anal like enthusiast 993 owners are.

There was a metallic black one around, I'll have to do some digging but she'll want to adorn the bodywork with something to brighten it up. I did suggest maybe red or orange Carrera stickers, but I got "that looks ok on a 2.7RS"

It is a well known fact that doctor owned cars are faster, more reliable and worth more than patient (everyone else) owned ones. Trust me ..Doctor owned since 2010 ........ wow.
I well remember my doc in Chipping Campden many many years ago.
He had a (from new) MK3 Mini Cooper S. You could always tell when he'd been on the whisky with his mates, by how sideways he used to drive it up Fish Hill on the way back from Broadway to Campden. Then he used to shunt the cars in front and behind to park.
Top bloke, in a World at the time with a little less angst in it. .................... I still wouldn't have bought the Cooper S off him though (and I really really wanted one).
