No Spyders...

There's no Spyders for sale on PH. I was looking to get an idea of values for a 'purist spec' 6,000 mile car with OEM Warranty before I put it on. Any ideas?

A manual car with 20k miles sold via opc at £31k recently, and a PDK car sold via Dovehouse at circa £35k with approx £17k miles. Both sold sold very quickly.

Based on what I paid (8k miles) and what I've seen others advertised for, at least £35k assuming purist spec means at least seats and wheels. Warranty will help too. There was one advertised on here recently with ceramic brakes and 8k miles for £39k! But I don't know if it sold.

I would be more inclined to advertise high 30s and wait.if its a good spec. low miles and a late reg. I don't think you will wait long

I was given a px value of £34k a month ago and I've got fat boy seats but otherwise free of any fripperies (PDC excepted)
12k miles, July '11 car.
This wasn't from an OPC, mind.

That was a car in Ireland with history so you can rule out £31k as it was a non Mainland car.

With indies selling non warranty cars for mid £35K+

as long as it has the main Spyder items and warranty I would put it up for £39k
It's not like people have a choice, very rare car.
I would put mine up at 42k if I was selling with PCCB.

Whenever I drive it (not often enough) people still ask what it is and say its the best looking Porsche they have seen and I have still not seen another in the road!

But I am just not driving it - done 2,000 in two years.

know what you mean but there is nothing out that comes close unless you start spending serious money!and then people come along and say gt3 which is not what I want but a boxster/cayman with the gt3 type makeover perhaps.

I had mine in to the local OPC who said they would advertise it at £40k. It's a 60 reg with 6200 miles, manual, buckets, PSE, Spyder wheels etc.

There was one on the OPC network at £40k last weekend, presumably that sold?

I'm thinking that (if I can decide on what's next) I'll advertise mine after New Year for high £30's while it still has 22 months OPC warranty.

I was looking at the 1Ms this morning. They are ALL at £40k. Worth more and sell better than a Spyder? Or arguably, there's quite a few for sale.
