997 gt3 extinguisher mounting

I have the extinguisher floor mounted, but it's a bit of a PITA for passengers, I've seen pictures of extinguishers mounted on the roll cage - but can't find anywhere supplying the fittings, does anyone have any ideas or information?

The FVD one is the smaller firex, IMHO the factory 4 litre one would not fit like that. Having the factory one myself in my 7.2 GT3RS it's not THAT uncomfortable for the passenger, I know , I 've been there !

I did , it's not the large Porsche Extinguisher ala GT3/RS but the smaller powder one !

The Brey-Krause mount is very pretty, but unfortunately its designed to fit an American (imperial) sized extinguisher that we dont have, and its too small to be any real use anyway...

It's a rollcage bracket, just like the OP asked for. It's not an extinguisher, and it doesn't come with on either (or a quick-release for that matter). The small quick-release might fit perfectly but there is no reason another quick-release or different sized extinguisher could be fitted with or without modifications and then bolted onto the rollcage bracket - I use this bracket and it is not with the small extinguisher used as an example in one of the pictures.

Thanks David. I have two of the seat mounts under my desk here. I wish that one suited electric seats, as I have become accustomed to gliding fore and aft...

The tube mounting mount is very nice - its a shame that they dont offer a version which would suit a 2l//2.4l/2kg extinguisher and have a vendor in the UK who doesnt charge comedy prices (and have a reputation for being a shower of b*stards, too).

For a large extinguisher like that, Id be looking at using a plumbed in bottle mount which has quick release straps. Thatll involve drilling though, which I dont think Id be prepared to do on a clean GT3...
