Buying from Northern Ireland for use in England.

All, forgive me if these 2 questions reflect my ignorance, but it's my first time for buying a 1 owner car today from Portadown in N Ireland for use in London;

1) all provenance about the car is good but the niggling Q I have: is there any slight hit on the residual price in England just bcse the original owner was outside England in N Ireland?
2) Are all N Ireland the same spec as UK equivalent cars please?

It should make no difference at all, still a UK car with mph speedo, still C16 too AFAIK.

However, keep copies of all NI paperwork as when you send it off to register it at Swansea you'll get a V5C (instead of the current V5NI from Coleraine) it will show the same original date of first registration, but will show as zero previous keepers - essentially from the paperwork it will look like you've had the car from brand new. This is a strange, and annoying, anomaly from DVLA.

Northern Irish Porsches usually emanate from OPC Belfast, recently acquired by the Sytner Group - they are C16 UK cars and worth the same as any other pre-owned Porsche.

There is currently a proposal to move the DVANI operation in Coleraine to the DVLA in Swansea, which might clear up some of this confusion, as the V5 documents would presumably no longer be different.
