Porsche 996 indicators

I have a 2002 Porsche Carrera C2 3.6 facelift.

I have a problem with my indicators when I want to turn left it works ok but will not self cancel and when I want to turn right I have to hold the stalk down.

Is this repairable or do I need a new or second hand stalk set and my set has three stalks as I do not have cruise control.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, it sounds like the combination stalk has failed. It is cheaper to buy the one with cruise control on for some strange reason.

It is cheaper--- but when mine failed the opc said it was not compatible and I had to fit like for like. The opc will match 'cheaper' advertised parts priced though

Mine has three stalks indicators,wipers and computer.

I have had a quick look around and a decent Porsche supplier like design 911 want about £250 for a new one and places like Ebay want about half that for secondhand.

Its not urgent I replace it so will keep looking for a good deal.

It is exactly the same switch, just has extra stalks.
