OPC Bristol

I picked up my approved used 997 Turbo today from OPC Bristol.

I just wanted to come on here and report what a first class experience it was from start to finish.

I dealt with a Salesman called Sam Cross who was excellent and i would recommend anyone looking for a used Porsche
privately or from an Independent to talk to OPC Bristol because when the OPC warranty was taken into account
i think their pricing is extremely competitive.I was treated today as if i had bought a new 991 Turbo from them,not a 7 year old 997.I am extremely impressed.

Not really what i was expecting when i arrived to pick it up-

I use Bristol OPC regularly for servicing and parts for my 996 Targa. I can't fault the service and professionalism, a great team!

Saw the OP's 997T in the showroom when I was picking up parts yesterday morning, it looked fantastic and clearly very well prepared!

personally I would never even set foot into Bristol OPC - I live in Glastonbury and I now use OPC Reading . . .

THATS how good Reading are and how bad OPC Bristol are IMHO!

Everyone's experience is different I guess - but ANY IDIOT can sell you a car - service is what really matters.

I dealt with a chap called Stuart who was THE single most helpful salesman i've had the pleasure to meet. OPC Bristol certainly do have some good people working there !

If I walked in to OPC Bristol to collect my new car and there was a huge red bow on it, I'd politely request that they take it off and ask who was responsible for it!

It may go down well at a Kia or Hyundai dealership in Loughton, but for a Porsche?

Agreed, that's a fantastically misjudged way to present a 997 turbo in my opinion.

Been happy using OPC Bristol for 12 years. The two Porsches I've bought new have both come from them and they've done all the servicing work (except tyres).

Interesting, I moved from Reading to Bristol 6 years ago through poor service at Reading !!! Probably due to a bit of a change of the guard at Reading, and the old folks across, sales, parts, and service all moved onwards, or upwards ....

good lot at Bristol, had a puncture last year whist at the Uni...Very help lent me a car to get London and back....They talk a little strange at times.....
