Retro cruise control / PSE, 997 C2 - recent quotes?

Hi All

Recent quote from my local OPC (Colchester) = £550. I have spotted a couple of indies (Revolution Porsche / Wrightune) via Google charging 400 + Vat which pushes closer to OPC figures.
Are there cheaper options out there? Most of my searches on previous pricing date back a few years so any fresh experience will be helpful.
PSE @ £2700 at the same OPC.

I had cruise control retro fitted by Porsche Reading for around £500.

Wherever you get it installed from make sure you get the RIGHT software update!

For the 996, the new stalks set alone is around £220. 4 stalk assy actually cheaper than 3 stalk assy (!!!)

Not sure the 997, but again for the 996 a simple mini wiring loom needs to be made up and of course everything assembled, and the software settings tinkered with.

I would say that if someone did it several times and had all the bits to hand it would be possible to do the lot in an hour, but say 1.5hrs.

If all is already pre-prepped for the 997 then it would just be a question of fitting the new stalks assy and adjusting the settings on the software so definitely under an hour.

DIY it takes you much longer but that's because you are discovering things for yourself.
