As the weather is a bit nasty at the moment, thoughts turn to when the sun comes out along with the car and road trips/track days are planned.
Just trying to plan what I am doing this year and I thought I would ask on here too in order to gain some inspiration
Planned for me:
Drive to Monaco to see the historic grand prix in May
Petrolhead Nirvana Alpine South tour in September
Not much planned between those dates though, how about you?

Just booked a holiday to visit the Pyrenees in Northern Spain
Portsmouth to Bilbao
Then to Biescas and pick up the N260 and all the way up into Andorra, back into Spain then retrace my steps to Pamplona and onto Oviedo
Last day through Picos de Europa back to Santander
I've been motivated to do this after following a trip that a PH'er did in April 2012. Thanks to Redback911 (Daniel King)
Having just bought a new Boxster, I wanted to give it a proper run-out
Portsmouth to Bilbao
Then to Biescas and pick up the N260 and all the way up into Andorra, back into Spain then retrace my steps to Pamplona and onto Oviedo
Last day through Picos de Europa back to Santander
I've been motivated to do this after following a trip that a PH'er did in April 2012. Thanks to Redback911 (Daniel King)

Done this many times, and will be in fact doing it again in July, very similar route to you. Do you really want to go to Andorra? Not worth the fuel unless you need tyres IMO.Portsmouth to Bilbao

Just a heads up. I do not know if you have time. But Ronda is a great place to visit on the way to Seville from Granada. Conil de la Frontera for a coastal stay, though a detour is especially nice for a couple of nights. I can highly recommend a restaurant in Vejer de la Frontera Seville is just fantastic. We took my 993 for a Spanish tour a couple of years back. Just make sure your aircon is working, especially in the South. The temp hit a 100 at 7PM in Cordoba.

That's great to know thank you. We are going early April so it should be cooler. If it is warm to hit in the day I might take a cabriolet otherwise a coupe. Will have to visit the weather charts. One of the most amazing places we also went too was Cordoba and to the Cathedral Mosque, this is a place that one should visit at least once in a lifetime, we even stumbled across the gardens being open with a light display in the evening, absolutely fantastic. Mucho cheap hotel here though, we were running out of money.
I really hope you enjoy your trip as we did.

No problem, If memory serves it was nearby secure parking, I do remember we couldn't park outside the hotel. However I do think you would be lucky to get a room in Seville in April unless you have already booked. Its the time of the Easter celebration (Semana Santa) and April Fair (Feria de Abril)

You can get tyres in Andorra to fit just about anything and they are if memory serves, tax free. It's about the only place in the whole Pyrenees its possible to get a tyre if you get a flat, and your car is more unusual than a Seat/Ford/Vauxhall etc etc.Do not understand the tyre reference though??
I seriously would reconsider. There is just nothing there, unless you want cheap tyres, cheaper fuel or tax free watches.

I should be OK!!
Its 2400 metres (7800 feet)on the Port d'Envilara not the tunnel at the eastern of Andorra
I saw your informative post the other night about the Sort to Vielha road which I now intend to do on my way back westwards. I will be there on 15th May.
