Specialists near Nottingham?
Discussion
After months of searching, I've just bought a 944: a 1987 turbo. It's not perfect, but there is alot of dross out there and this thing only has 54K on it.
Pretty soon I want to get it in to a garage to do a few bits. Amongst them - new disks all round, and I think, new engine mounts as there is a strong vibration (only at idle) which I did not notice when I was looking at it.
So... two questions:
1. Can anyone recommend a specialist near to Nottingham? Or should I just go to the main dealer (which is in Nottingham)?
2. This car seems alot better at accelerating than braking. Can anyone recommend brake up grades? Didn't the later turbos have the brakes of 928s?
