Roof bars for 996 Targa????

Thinking about doing a family road trip but going to need a roof box to achieve this. Does anyone know if there is a roof bar system available to fit a targa? There aren't any slots in the A-C roof line to accommodate the foot clamps like the coupe system.

Could try something along the lines of this?? Not sure of they do a roof box but strong sucker attachments might be your only option.

Thanks for the help but don't think it would be a good idea to attach that to the glass roof panel - I imagine it could cause serious damage to the mechanism as it isn't a structural panel.

I'm inclined to agree with you. If you read through the thread, quite a few people were sceptical about it. However, it is a potential option and I guess there's a (limited) market for these things.

As it happens, I have a 996 Targa too and I'm not sure I'd use the sucker mounted device TBH!!
