997 Aero Kit and PDK questions

Where can an Aero Kit for a 997 be bought? Are Porsche the only source for these or can they be supplied by a third party? If retro fitted at an OPC would this effect the OPC warranty?
Is the PDK box fitted to the 997 Gen 2 the same as the one on the 991? If not, how much better is the 991 box?
A Guards Red 997 Gen 2 with the kit fitted would be my dream car....

I can't see genuine parts fitted by OPC affecting the warranty, but different OPC's seem to have a differing stances on this. Best ask your local OPC what they say.(FWIW Audi were fine with this when I did similar)

The 991 pdk is a similar but much improved version of the 997.
Fundamentally I think the 997 is a good box and light years ahead of the tiptronic. The 991 is just superb IMHO.
Try a 997 and decide for yourself if it's good enough for you. I just would avoid driving a 991 or you will end up buying it like I did ;-)

Having test-driven a 991 Carrera S at length - it convinced me to keep the 997. 991's not for everyone as it's a very different type of car to the 997. Fundamentally I think the 997 is a good box and light years ahead of the tiptronic. The 991 is just superb IMHO.
