If not a GT3 what else?
Discussion
458, 430, scud, 360, challange, 12c, turbo, gt2, gallardo, db9, vanquish, vantage v12 sl63, m3, m6, kit cars (inc caterhams, ariel, ktm, radical etc), the list goes on
more importantly is what you get for your money
im starting to think about what gets your further (more pleasure?) with your money, say your going to spend 80-110k on a gt3
another option is to get a full track prep car and a daily drive
perhaps a 997.1 gt3 and a x5
perhaps a ariel atom supercharged and a c63
maybe a stripped m3 and a db9
just some thoughts

given that the manual transmission is no longer available, i would have thought the ferraris (esp 430 scud) sound like attractive alternatives. not that i am in a position to buy either one unfortunately. of course those will not be new purchases, but with a ferrari warranty it should be ok i guess

i hear that a lot. why is it that good? I mean you have to paddle shift. wouldn't a regular manual m3 be better? I obviously have not had extensive drives of the CSLFerraris, Lambos etc serve a different purpose in my view - more a Sunday morning gloat car, rather than an all out drivers' car, that is day to day useable.
