Well it took a few weeks etc dealing with the normal dreamers daft emails etc but finally managed to sell the GT3 for a little over the asking price so very happy with the outcome, and the new owner is getting a well sorted fantastic car.
Been a fantastic car and well recommended to anybody who wants one, the hype is all true they are an epic drive and i would describe due to the rawness a compromise between a well sorted air-cooled and modern water cooled.
So here goes my quandary where do i go now? The sale was originally planned to release a bit of capital for legal fees etc since the marital issues with the snake and i guess to a degree this is still part of the objective of moving the GT3 on.
I have a couple of options i have the chance of another GT2 low mile car at trade price needs a few bits and bobs sorting to make perfect body work wise but just gone through an 111 POINT OPC check no issues, yes i know i've had one and yes i said they were too fast etc for todays roads but its still a GT2 and they look brilliant in my eyes.
The other option is a rather nice 89 Carrera 3.2 G50 lovely spec, colour wide fuchs linen interior no corrosion sensible miles given its age.

I certainly miss the looks of the thing, and yeah it made me laugh out loud when the blowers lit up, but in reality on todays roads it is wasted. Is the GT2 just too quick nowadays?
Financially both sensible purchases certainly wont lose my shirt on either.

Now you're starting to sound like one of those anoraks who hate fast cars because they didnt do well in life "whats the point, my astra will do 70 which is the fastest you can go in the UK" haha, anyway whatever you buy will be gone in 3 months, unless its a "Keeper" haha! Gazumping.To be honest most of my cars have been sold via word of mouth over the phone & a deposit secures the deal.
