lockton insurance for a 3.8 RS

It's insurance renewal time so I'm looking around for a decent insurance company who also offer track day cover.

I've got a decent quote from Lockton (underwritten by Chubb) and they also cover trackdays. Only apparent downside is a £1k excess but I can live with that.

I'm keen to go with a decent/reputable company so just wondered if any of you have experience of Lockton/Chubb.

Try Mannings they include unlimited trackday cover but the excess is 10% of the cars value.

Just to be clear is that 1K excess on road or is that the same on track? if so... thats f-ing amazing!

Locktons are about as big as it gets in the insurance broker world. They've just helped broker an excellent deal for my fleet insurance. Locktons as a Broker and Chubb as underwriters is about as good as it gets. If the premiums right as well for me it's a win win.

Excess would be around £10k on a 3.8 RS.

Bad drafting on my part. £1k for normal road use. Track is I believe as has just been said £10k.
