Any one else had this problem? been on my car from day one. The fix is new CCBDs all round. My car has been off the road for almost 2 weeks now. No CCBDs in UK or factory..

I presume you mean the bits that hang on the F-RS under the AAWs and are acted upon by the FPBCs?

mm interesting, no its on the floating disc, my local OPC have had to replace 4 sets apart from mine.....And I know of another 3 cars.....all same problem

How can one test is the car has the issue or not? Thanks

Although I haven't experienced the problem (yet) I have noted that the discs on my March 2014 turbo S are not the most upto date and the part number ends 00 rather than 02 or 03 as per the PCNA Advanced Technical Information bulletin. I have put my OPC on notice and asked them to look into it. Depending on the exact nature of the problem the car may still be drivable and know of one owner who has a letter from Porsche to that effect.

So if you've got a GT3 with PCCB you potentially need new discs as well as engine! Nice.

So you've got £350k worth of new 911s that you cannot currently use.

Are Porsche doing something about it ?

Right....I have had a noise from the front CCBD from new on my car from new. This has got worse and worse. When warm drive at 10-15mph with no brake pressure. If you hear a loud click click noise. You have the problem.

My car was returned to my local OPC, who informed me that after a road test I have the problem on all 4 discs, along that they have had to replace 3 sets all ready. The supplying OPC has informed me that they have had to take the complete brake set of there demo, and fit on to a customer car in order to keep it on the road.

My car has now been off the road for almost 2 weeks with this problem. At the time of writing there is no news as to when my car will be back on the road.

I should add that PCGB have advised me that my car is safe to drive on the road with this problem. I do not have this in writing.

I should also like to add that both my RHD GT3 and TTS were supplied to me with the GEO out. This has a massive effect on the handling of the car, in particular the rear end

on GT3.No news on time frame or offer on Comp....On the TTS brake problem. No news as to when the parts will be available. Customers services are worse than useless, on this issue.

I have been given a C4S lone car
