997.1 turbo with black wheels

I like this PHers car (hope he doesn't mind me posting his picture up again below) but has anyone got pics of a 997 turbo 1 with black standard wheels but with the outer lip in silver?

hmm I'm thinking of changing them a little and giving them a red lip this time round but worried it will look a bit too Saxo brigade so not made my mind up.

Pick here of car with yellow lip on same wheels so gives you an idea.

these GT2 wheels look best with a silver lip IMO as they have a thicker lip

Very nice- Are these HRE P40s? or BBS CH-R? Or something else? Think they suit the 997TT perfectly.

Adams correct, they are P40's

I've put 5mm spacers all round but am going to move to 15mm at the back and 10mm at the front so the wheels fill out the arches a bit more.

Its hopefully going to Parr over the Winter for a stage 4 Cargraphic/RS Tuning kit with 624 psi. Also going to stick lowering springs from H&R, GT2 front and rear anti roll bars and short shift gearshift. Drove their demonstrator and was completely blown away by it - honestly not into tuning or modding but my God the Parr car felt like it was straight out of the factory it was so well resolved. The RS tuning engine was just a peach of a power unit - the rush at 3000rpm totally addictive!

picked up the new car after a very excited trip down to Southampton

still undecided on wheels, will live with standard for a while, still think keeping the outer rim silver might be the best option for me

I use the standard wheels for my winter tyres and I have OZ HLTs in black for the summer.
