PCM 3.0 upgrade to latest version

I have just had my 2010 Cayman S PCM upgraded to the latest version while the car was in the dealers for a spot of warranty work. I have the multi function wheel and have the programmable button set to skip to next track on the audio source. I have noticed that since the upgrade this appears to be a lot more sluggish and takes a good shove for it to recognise and there is a noticeable lag before the track changes from the iPhone 5. Anyone else experienced this after the upgrade?
