cayman gen2 vs gen3 roof rack

a long shot to ask here, but here goes - will the Cayman Gen1/Gen2 (987) Roof Transport System fit onto Gen3? (981)

Nope - there isn't a Porsche roof system for the 981 - the little pockets where you screw it in aren't on the newer car.

Its a real pain as I use mine to transport my bikes a fair bit........

There are aftermarket solutions - google sea sucker, i believe someone on here has one.

oh.. that blows! i regularly drive around with 2 bikes on my roof and get funny looks :P
