Track day insurance advice?

I have never done a track day and really fancy the PCGB one at Anglesey( been told there's plenty of room for errors). I rang insuremytrackday and they want £575 for 1 days insurance! My company insurance won't cover me, I have a 991 C2S. I would feel better with insurance on the day but £575 seems a bit strong.

Wow! I pay less than that for a full years fully comprehensive insurance, with unlimited trackdays on a 996 Turbo. Insured with Mannings - don't know if they just do trackdays, though.

Anglesey will be a great day.

It may be more cost effective to switch to an insurer that throws track day insurance in for free. Depends how far you are into your current policy and no claims status etc.

Five of us booked on with our 964s . The best insurance you can get is to book a couple of instruction slots and drive within your limits. Should be a great day.

Moris charged me £90 per day at Spa (cover of 25k, 10% excess) , was miles cheaper than the others I tried

Moris have quoted me £350 for the day! Don't think I'm going to get it any cheaper on my motor and really fancy Anglesey, so looks like I'll have to pay. And I look forward to being lapped
