Bumper respray in Bournemouth/Dorset

Hi all,

I took my 996 in for an MOT only at Kwik Fit. Sounds like a really simple job and the idea was they probably wouldn't try to rip me off for more work. Just an MOT right...what can possibly go wrong?!?

Unfortunately they have put a massive scratch in the bumper. I have indicated that it should be fixed properly (not a smart repair, as I don't know what it will be like in 6 months!).

The local Porsche approved repairer (Poole accident repair) has quoted 600 quid, but Kwik fit want 3 quotes. Can anyone recommend a good one on the bournemouth/dorset south coast? The colour is midnight blue (metallic).

poole accident and repair are supposed to be porche approved have seen good and bad jobs from them, try fendown coachworks on industrial estate also sod 3 quotes your car you choose they broke it

Nidor in Hamworthy, Poole- They have just done some work on my 997 for me - excellent finish! They are well established, the boss Martin is a real car enthusiast who has taken over the company from his dad who founded it in the 70's I believe. they are not too expensive and would not allow a substandard job to leave the premises - I felt very safe leaving m car with them!

I have used Jesty's which Ferndown OPC use, and was pleased with the service.

When I was in that area F W Jesty were the approved repairer - and by most insurers. Had to use them twice and work was excellent. Prices reflect the quality.

Another vote for Jestys, used them twice on previous Porsches and work was top notch
