The basics are : 3.8 litre twin turbo motor available with either 530ps, 560ps or 650ps and torque of 750Nm, 790Nm and 870Nm respectively. Four wheel drive and called the RT 12. The 560ps version does 350km/h (218mph) and 0-60 in 3.7s. Compare this with a Carrera GT which does 330km/h (206mph) and 0-60 in 3.9s. 19 inch wheels up front and 20 inch wheels at the back. Adjustable ride height system that havs movement of 5cm ensuring stability at 350km/h (218mph). Integral roll cage with leather or alcantara.

Sorry, could be my dodgy translation. I think it is available either as 2WD or 4WD. I guess the 4WD one will come later. Having said that, for Ruf to come out with this car so soon after 997 official release they probably got some early cars from Porsche a while back - development mules, or were given access to the parts etc to make the Ruf versions. Perhaps they have already been given a 4WD car to play with even though Porsche's 4WD car isn't released. Perhaps on the condition they let Porsche release theirs first. Who knows...?
