Car has recently returned from some warranty work at Porsmouth it's a 2010 Cayman S and in the front boot today I noticed the rubber piece pictured here with no obvious home for it. Any ideas what it is?

Looks like the bung that covers the hole for the headlight release. Pull carpet away at the sides in the boot and you will see a hole with no bung.

It's the bung that one should insert into ones anus before looking at the invoice for works carried out at your local friendly OPC.

biggrin I was waiting for that!

I will check the lights in daylight can't see why they would have been in there though it was a power steering pump failure
