996 Headlight deflector
Discussion
Can anyone point me in the direction of the best and easiest set of headlight deflectors for driving in France please?
Due to the 996 lenses not being conventionally circular & being flat I wondered if conventional cheap ebay purchases would still work ?
I notice horizontal lines on the lenses, not sure if that has some bearing.
First time that I have taken it abroad will be this years Le Mans
I would appreciate any answers

There is a switch on the back of the light unit for driving abroad.
This, just RTFM!Mine are permanently in Euro-mode (I think...!) I don't get any beam going up and left.
That's how I bought the car and I don't get any flashing when in Euro-land so I guess it's all hunky-dory.

There is a template around somewhere. I'll find it for you. It's then easy to use Fablon or similar to stick to the lenses. I used metallic silver last time and it worked a treat.
Sorry to bring this up again, my lights do not have a switch for driving on the Right,Selwonk is it possible to point me in the direction of the templates please ?
many thanks
If you want to use the DIY template, there are two files:
http://www.filedropper.com/996headlampmask
http://www.filedropper.com/996headlampmask2
The first is the template and the second shows where to fit them.
