GT2 Decklid and wing on 996 Turbo

Posting for a mate who was wanting to know if a GT2 wing fitted to her 996 turbo will effect how it drives. I have the opinion that it won't make much difference at the speed she drives but what I know about aerodynamics you can write on a postage stamp.

Tell her to get the bumper too. It'll look very odd with just the wing.

As for aero, Porsche state that "Front and rear spoilers may not be fitted separately for aerodynamic reasons" (see here - (it's a 997 catalogue but they said the same in the 996 catalogue that I can't find).
There won't be much of an effect below 70mph, but if the car is going to be used at higher speeds, I, personally wouldn't want to have a 'bitsa' aero agenda.

you should get both done for aero reasons....however not much if any additional downforce below 130mph
