Hi there can anyone tell me if they know any history or maybe a previous keeper of a 996 turbo in silver KW03 VEV
i am looking to buy it and want to see if i can find out some history previous keep has been a member on porsche gb as its in the history file.
Car is a tip turbo with 56k miles any help would be great.

Well i got the car and its lovely
condition is fantastic credit to its former keepers
its seen some paint in the past but i can forgive it for that
57k full porsche service history but would like to find some previous keepers
reg plates that have been on the car R30FUN B7ELL 2REE AND BR02ANJ smile

Sounds great James.

Once the car is registered to you, you can then do a "fee paying enquiry" with the DVLA. They'll send you copies of old v5s out showing names and addresses of all the former keepers. You can then write to them if you want. Although technically you aren't supposed to act on any of the information as far as I know.

I always do one of these for anything special (although I haven't done one for my GT3 as all the former keepers are listed in the service book), however I've never written to anyone asking for any info or stories they have about the car. I'd be interested but I always picture the scene if they've moved house.
Some random guy will open a nerdy letter asking about a 15 year old Porsche and say "Who's this saddo?!". hehe
