Porsche iPod connector cable

Hi all

Had a quick search and couldn't locate what I wanted so please forgive me if this is a common request.

I have the 997.1 with iPod connectivity in console between seats.

The lead is too short and if I need to change albums etc, I cannot do it whilst driving so need a longer lead so I can temporarily mount the iPod on longish journeys

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to the name of the lead as a Fleabay search doesn't throw up the right
connector

Assuming its one of the older 30 pin type connectors, if you search Ebay for iPod extension cable, there are quite a few to choose from...

Never thought of doing it that way

I was just thinking of replacing the existing cable with a longer one!!
