Love the detail on this car. A pal of mine thinks the listing of 1390 miles is misleading even though it does say 93 odd further down.
I think you'd assume a car of this vintage had been rebuilt but he disagrees.

What do we think?

I don't think anyone takes 1,390 at face value (most will assume it's rebuilt) but it does catch the eye. I don't see any issue with this, it's had a rebuild and it looks in great condition.

I just don't see it's worth circa £25k over a similar £30k C2 (even allowing for the market to have moved).

If the price was more reasonable circa £45 I'd be down there now! smile

They have a very good reputation and I am sure it is thoroughly well deserved..maybe its a bit of reverse psychology going on but I think main advert should really state it is 95k miles and in the detail 'benefits from a recent engine rebuild 1390 miles ago'. just IMO. I dont recall anyone with blown M96/M97 units with new engines saying their 70k mile 996 C2 with say 5k miles since new engine installed as 5k miles in the main text.Just dont see the need to say things like that.I am sure if it was HWM there would be a proper gashing taking place!!!!

nice car

getting to the point now with aircooled RS where the real thing is well into 6 figures and good recreations are more than the original asking price of the real deal ... how times change

OH FFS... another RS recreation WITH a sunroof.. WHY? really, why? you go to all the trouble of stripping everything out to change the colour and you leave the rod in and then call it an RS look alike...

Tell you what if thats worth 55K then I'll happily take 50K for my even rarer 993 RS recreation...

I dont see your problem. Porsche offered a sunroof option on the original 2.7RS and on the 964RS and called it the RS Touring. Whats the issue? Its easy enough to remove if you didn't want it.

If you're asking TOP money for a recreation then it should be done properly. The RS touring IIRC came with triple colour 'sports seats' not buckets. So its not one thing or the other... its just an expensive C2 in my eyes.
