Battery saving standby??

Going to leave my 991 in the driveway for 2 weeks. Not possible to use trickle charger... I understand 2 weeks should be ok if the battery is good. However, any advice please about anything could be done to minimize battery drain - for example is there a battery saving mode that I could activate myself?

Make sure you do not have an inside light on, or a phone charger or something plugged in, then just lock the car and don't look back. The battery will be ok when you return. Well, if the car is still there. Leaving it on your driveway….? You got some guts. BTW, when you come back do not just start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes or just drive the car around the block. Take it for a nice long drive to fully recharge the battery.

The car will also go into its own power saving mode after a few days to save the battery. You may therefore find that the remote locking doesn't work when you return. Unlock manually and start the car within 30 seconds and everything should be back to normal.

Lifting the door handle will disable the 'power saving' mode thereby allowing you to unlock the car in the normal manner with the remote.

I leave my CS for up to 4 weeks at a time without a charger and its fine.
