It's finally arrived & looks so good in the British rain!

As the title says, my 997 GT2 Clubsport has finally turned up in UK after I waved goodbye to it on 11th March in dusty Dubai.

The car briefly stopped by my house from the shipping company to collect a new set of Michelin PSS's and the paperwork required to get through the IVA, registration, etc... Next step a few mods, tyre fitting, tracker fitting, IVA test, MOT, registration & a luscious wax & polish. Hope to get it back in a few weeks.





One thing I noticed was how good the paintwork looked after being soaked in the best rain the NW of England could throw at it (it must have washed off most of that crappy Dubai sand)!

Can't wait to see it again, as next time I will be taking it on a 100 mile drive to bring it home...

Got a client that did the same as you and had his 4.0RS brought back from Dubai with him when he moved home, for some reason his road tax is considerably cheaper than a UK 3.8/4.0 but I'm not sure why? Maybe you'll be the same?
