Does anyone know about Techart 997 turbos - quality of conversion etc - in particular this one which is for sale:

Techart reputed to be top quality OPC approved. The car looks superb , no mention of the milage though.

Seen that one, beautiful car. Private seller and been on for a good time now, bit of haggling and I reckon you could get this for just over 40k, would be a great buy. Love the Techart kit as well

OPC approved is false information.

No modified car is OPC approved.

I don't know where you got your info.

You're sort of right and wrong -

The nearest kit TechArt lists for the Mezger-engined 997T is their TA 097/T2. This kit DOES include uprated VTG turbochargers in the spec, but... it's 'ONLY' rated at 580BHP, not 605 BHP as stated in the ad.

If it's the 'proper' 580PS TechArt upgrade, it'll still be one hell of a fast car.

Get VIN and speak to Tech 9 in Liverpool, they are the official Techart outlet in UK, and hopefully will be able to assist and poss offer pre purchase inspection service also.

It says 59k miles on ad, overly fussy and tacky looking IMHO
