Looking at a company based in Hong Kong called "Carsets" that are selling the kit,is there anybody that has used this company.

I have used a guy off ebay in the US a couple of times spending a few thousand.

not bought a PIWIS but have used carsets quite a few times for other tools and always had good service from them

Used them for BMW iCom and ISTA/P plus various small bits like logod LED puddle lights. All good, delivered promptly with "appropriate" value on the customs dec for import duty and vat. Would have no qualms with the vendor, only whether the product was what you expect.

I am Also in the market for PIWIS 2, but a bit unsure if it will become a dust collector very rapidly.

Not a problem with BMW as their official ISTA/P subscription is quite cheap from the US tech site, and it updates Automatically online. If you do get PIWIS 2 would appreciate any info on what it can do and updating.
