996 GT2...contrasting wing and mirrors.
Discussion
Curious if anyone has done this? Without spending a fortune on a carbon wing and mirrors (I'd want the actual mirror not a stick on cover), just wondering if anyone had finished their wing and mirrors in a contrasting colour? Maybe a matt black or perhaps Speed Yellow (it'd go with my brake calipers and seat belts)

911v sold a silver gt2 several months back could even be a year ago that had a black blade and wing mirrors, new owner had them painted back to silver.
Have a google might be some images of it. Another option is to have the parts dipped with a carbon transfer that then is lacquered.
There is a company on the south coast that does it (approx £200 for blade) looks very very good. Or you could just man up and buy my spare carbon blade and do it properly 😀
How did you get on with the plinth?
And what are your impressions of the car?
Best.

Plinth sorted thanks.
It's a proper car. Really enjoying having to drive it. It's totally impossible to drive slowly and the Tubi makes a great noise. Just as well it's not a daily driver - I'd be banned within a week!
Totally agree that the carbon option is favourite. I wouldn't want a wrap or a dip. Don't have that amount of cash to invest just right now though.
Great car.
