I'm just in the throws of ordering some fresh new brake fluid for mu 996.2 GT3. Does anyone how many litres I need to buy?

Google is not being massively useful.

Thanks in advance

One litre will be plenty.

Many thanks, i'll get some bought.

I didn't think it was a tricky job, my indy are after charging £103 to change it and £150 to change for SRF.

Given a litre of SRF is £40 and an hours labour is £72 the numbers only confuse, does it really take more than an hour?

If swapping to SRF, you will want more than 1 litre.

From memory, total capacity is 1.7lt.

If replacing like for like, 1lt is fine but you do not want to mix srf with normal dot 4.

Most garages will use 1lt on the standard brake fluid change.

Rather than SRF, you're probably better going for AP Racing Formula DOT 5.1 Road/Competition Brake & Clutch Fluid, unless you're going for all out racing when they now do their Radi-CAL R4 Racing Fluid. This can mix straight into DOT 4 fluid.

Motul and Brembo also have fluids that are better than SRF.
