Just learned tonight at the Griffins Head Pub Classic and Sports car meet that there is an official Porsche GB meet at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire on Sunday June 29th 2014.

Last years 2013 event was fantastic with over 200 Porsches turning up for the event.

I posted a few pics of the Porsche GB meeting 2013 at Chatsworth House on my Flickr page: https://www.flickr.com/photos/100047767@N07/sets/7...

This was a fantastic meeting for Porsche enthusiasts and also family members who aren't so excited at the thought of hundreds of Porsche 911 drivers because there is plenty to see for all family members including jaunts around the country estate on a tractor and trailer.

Aside from which, the roads to Chatsworth are gorgeous, just be aware that those self-serving jobsworths from the speed camera partnership will be out and about to ruin your day.

Just wondering if this event is on as there is no mention of it on the Chatsworth House events calendar, does anyone have any further details about start time, entry fees etc, is there registration required? Or is it PCGB only?

Thanks

Just a reminder that the Porsche show at Chatsworth is next Sunday which is the 29th June and all Porsche owners are welcome to attend.

As far as I'm aware the event is still on at Chatsworth House, and it's still displayed on the official Porsche Club GB website: http://www.porscheclubgb.com/Events/Calendar.aspx

Last year was pretty spectacular thanks to a combination of good weather and plenty of Porsche enthusiasts. Must say that we thoroughly enjoyed the event.

I posted quite a few pics of the last Porsche event at Chatsworth House on my Flickr account: https://www.flickr.com/photos/100047767@N07/sets/7...

Chatsworth are asking Porsche owners to attend by 10.30am due to nanny state health and safety reasons, and there is a small car parking fee.

As I have mentioned, last year was awesome, and well worth a trip out to Derbyshire, just watch out for those self-serving safety camera parasites looking out to ruin your day to justify their petty pointless council taxpayer funded existence.

Well I'm not a member of the official Porsche GB club or TIPEC, but was welcomed in to the Porsche enclosure, rather than the 'idiots car park', despite the fact I have a front engined Porsche 928 S4, and can I just say it was a fantastic event.

Last year, hot weather, great atmosphere, brilliant selection of Porsche cars and owners and enthusiasts to chat to, so very highly recommended. A fantastic day out for all concerned including the wife and kids, who if I'm honest, weren't that interested in 'Porsche car stuff'.

Chatsworth House in Derbyshire is a beautiful venue so is well worth attending even if you're not into cars.

I took a few pics of last years Porsche event which I posted onto my Flickr account: https://www.flickr.com/photos/100047767@N07/sets/7...

Well the meeting at Chatsworth House was a massive success with over 150 Porsche cars attending despite the initial crappy weather. The day flew by as I chatted to many owners and enthusiasts.

So 10 out of 10 for the organisers of the 2014 event.

Will post a few pics of the event when I have a few spare minutes...
