Cinque Terre and Lakes road trip

So the current Mrs Binksboy and I are off to Europe on Friday on a first time Euro road trip. Traveling from Zeebrugge to Levanto and Cinque Terre then on to Riva del Garda and lake Como. We will be travelling on some great roads/passes Stelvio, San Gottard, Furka and hopefully more! Now the reason for my post is...two things anyone taken a similiar trip and if so any recommends , must sees? Secondly and this is something I'm a little worried by. If I were to have a major tyre problem/blowout in the middle of nowhere will I be covered by Porsche assist? Car still in warranty.

When heading South through France, turn left in Valence onto D1075 towards Sisteron via Die. then take N85 towards Digne, then the best part, the D4085 all the way to Grasse - Route Napoleon. This is one of the best drivers roads in Europe..!All cleaned up and ready to go!!
Porsche assist should cover you in mainland Europe, but ring them first just to be sure..!

On our Euro tour a couple of years ago we stayed in Riomaggiore having taken a brief stop in Modena. The SS12 from there to Lucca was spectacular, it's a bit of a long way round to Cinque Terre but if you're heading up to or down from the lakes it might make sense. Loads of tunnels in that part of Italy so windows down!
If you do take the Route Naploeon to Grasse and then cross into Italy via the riviera it's worth detouring inland a bit and using any of the numerous D roads between Carros and Menton- I can vouch for the D2204 and the D2566. Adds a lot of time to your journey for the small distance travelled but it's a proper playground.
