Anyone dealt with Brookspeed, Eastleigh?

After a few years in the Italian camp, with a couple of Maseratis, I've decided to move over to the 'Dark Side' for my next 'midlife crisis' car.
Over the weekend, I'm seeing a car that's being offered for sale by this company. It will be my first foray into Porsche ownership. So, I would prefer to deal with a company that has a good reputation in the Porsche community. I've googled them and used the search on here and overall, they do seem to have that good reputation.
Just to be sure, I thought that it would help to ask you lot for your experiences with them. Has anyone bought from them? Or had any dealings with the company? I've read that they have a Boxster race team and are good at setting up cars.

My car went there after the engine failed and they mananged the rebuid by Hartech.
It would be unfair to judge them on my initial experience since the young lad managing my car (Mike Lovell, RIP) passed away after an accident in a boat race. However the owner Martin did make a big effort to get me back in my car despite the obvious trauma the company were going through.
Martin lent me their track-prepped Boxster for a week and it was an absolute joy to drive. Based on that, I'd say they know how to set up a car - Boxsters certainly. I've no experience of how well they can set up a 911.

Yep, only a couple of weeks ago I had my car serviced there for the first time. They were pleasant, happy to chat - not the cheapest but then they didn't push me to get anything sorted that wasn't necessary so swings and roundabouts I guess!
Can't comment on sales but know they sell on behalf of clients. If it is a particular car happy to pop down and take a look at it (as they are within walking distance). Not mechanically minded but if you want someone to check it isn't tatty just shout

Oh yes, I've spoken to them several times. I'm going down there tomorrow morning. Hopefully, I'll get there by about 10am. I've spoken to Martin.If they ask, tell them you're "Elliott's personal vehicle pre-appraiser".
Ok, if get chance on way home from work I'll pop in and report back. Depends what time they are open to tonight so will have a shufty on their website

Good luck - weather looks appalling for tomorrow morning so hopefully they'll have it tucked away inside. Odd because it is on a fairly unassuming industrial estate next to a B&Q.
Don't know where they'll do test drives but it's only a couple of minutes to the motorway and then there are a few decentish NSL roads between there and Winchester.

It's been on their forecourt forever and a day. Wonder why it hasn't sold - I thought 964's flew off the shelves?My point is, definitely needs thorough checking and, if OK, probably worth bidding rather than paying sticker price.

I bought the car. (Subject to an independent inspection).
Everything was just as described. Everything worked. Even the targa - the test drive was during that big storm this morning.
The car's file is comprehensive. It's had an awful lot of work done. Including a full, engine out rebuild. All the door seals etc have been replaced too.
The drive was terrific. The car was completely solid. I thought that at the advertised price it was "a bargain" in today's market.
I went over the car for a good while & all that I could find wrong with it was that the interior light wasn't working and that the passenger windows was a bit jerky. But only when operated from the driver's door button.
Martin, Brookspeed's boss was an absolute gentleman. A pleasure to deal with. He's going to fix the minor niggles and one that he had pointed out to me, which was a sticking engine lid release cable.
So, once the inspection is complete, she'll be mine.
