996 GT2 Carbon Wing and Mirrors. What finish?

Been procrastinating over a carbon wing and mirrors for my GT2 over the last few weeks! Decided to order with DB Carbon in Germany. There's a choice of carbon finishes and I've pretty much decided to go with the matte option. Any thoughts before I pull the trigger on them?

May be worth contacting D Moris, they were OEM supplier of the mirrors and their carbon stuff is top notch and not overpriced.

Factory original were super glossy, which I think I'd choose too. They often deteriorate with age though, Marc at Ninemeister did a very good job on the ones from GT54RSR (996 RS) when I was getting the car prep'd last year.

Thanks. Happy with the deal I have with DB Carbon, really just considering the finish of the items. As I say, I'm leaning towards a matte carbon.

This is an example of a gen2 997 mirror that Isyman had done via DB Carbon. Looks cool.

I think matte always looks a bit unfinished , I would go for gloss .

Please let us know the outcome and post some pics. I've been debating this in my own mind for a long time. Carbon wing is of course cool but the body color hides the humongous wing as well I think.

+1. Matt was a 2011 fad imo.

hmmm...so far it's 1 for matte, 326 for gloss.

I'll make a final decision when asked by DB Carbon.

I'm very keen on the matte/satin finish on the GT2 RS carbon.

Definitely the right choice. Nothing like a bit of shiny carbon fibre weave on a sunny day.
