The only reason to do that work is serious panel damage from an accident. Otherwise it wouldn't justify the cost.

Really? The ONLY reason?
Not every cost needs to be justified or justified in a way that makes sense to anyone else, whilst a $ does not mean the same to everyone. I once watched a guy give away a year old Ferrari and buy another new one identical to replace it right there and then for a reason that would make most people shake their head in disbelief.
You may not like the car and you are entitled to that opinion but be careful throwing around such statements unless you actually know something. Its not on.

Think it looks okay, bit Max Powerish, but a few subtle changes and it would look great.

it looks surprisingly good for a conversion. I would spend money on a car (to such an extent) just to change the look without any performance benefit, but as others have said each to their own.

i'm not sure about the front lip spoiler nor the rear one tbh, but other than that I don't think it looks too bad at all
