OPC technician / dodgy driving

Followed a Boxster on my way home today that I saw pull out from an OPC ( I was in the carpark as he came out).
Not sure if it was a customer car but it had the blank Porsche plates on it like the showroom cars and the driver was adorned in Porsche overalls.
Anyway, his driving wasn't great to say the least - turns left from a straight on only lane and cuts up a lorry, then cuts in from a right hand only lane into a straight on lane so he can be at the front (of one car...)
He also wasn't being shy of giving it some beans.
Now, it may not be the worst driving ever, but my car is going into the same OPC for a noise to be investigated - no doubt it'll involve a road test pre and post inspection.
And I'd rather this chap didn't do it.
So do I say something when dropping the car off (considering I wouldn't recognise him) or just hope he's not the one doing my car?
(I also found it odd he had no trade plates and the blank plates fitted)

Not just OPCs up to this.
I had my P&J trailored to a bodyshop in north Manchester specifically to avoid both mileage and test pilots....came back 4 weeks later with +70 miles on the odo and a quarter of a tank less juice.
"strong motor" he - I fekin know that which was why I didn't want those dockhids driving around in it.

Give strict instructions to the service manager that you should accompany the test pilots on any drive....
Seen quite a few posts re overrevs on cars which have come to light during warranty work at a later date and owners relate this back to when the car must have been ragged round the block by the 'technician'.
Scary stuff....one would expect better from the OPC but unfortunately appears quite common......

So. I'm 20 something. I earn £8 an hour servicing Porsches.
I'm told to go test drive some rich barstuards car. I drive it with total respect, sticking to all traffic laws. Yeah right!
As a 40 something year old with a 991 I can honestly say that when my dad lent me nice cars, or I somehow wangled my way into something quick, unaccompanied, I drove within the speed limits at all times, and not once drove like a cock!
I drive my own car with equal respect now.
Stop worrying about your p&j. If they total it, the dealers insured. I doubt their 10 mile test drive would be any worse for it than driving it as it's intended.
Just be glad that your charitable giving gave an underachiever the chance to experience a small part of your life.

With reference to the grease monkey going for a drive in your car whilst it was being Moted, a Monkey can go for a test drive as part of the Mot test !!took my then 3year old r32 golf to kwik fit for the first mot back in 2007. Thought i would wait on the wall outside and read the paper whilst waiting.next thing i know grease monkey drives off in my car , and does a lap round orpington

Its common practice to abuse customers cars in dealerships !! I have worked from Citroen to Porsche dealerships and it does go on. I know of a dealership in the North West who have a top list speed on a carriage way near the dealership. Currently its at 165mph!! The only way round is to fit a spy camera in your car when its in for a service like a chap who owned a Vauxhall VXR did. He told the film to the service manager who firstly said our staff don't do that. He didn't pay for his service !!
